Sustainability Showcase is looking for interns to help develop our projects through 2015.
If you are looking for work experience to help get that non-profit dream job, or if you’re looking for opportunities to beef up your portfolio, or if you’re just keen to help out with a good cause and get some valuable work experience while you’re at it, this opportunity could be right up your alley.

Sustainability Showcase and SHIFT internships are ideally suited to recent graduates or final-year students in search of work experience and learning opportunities – provided you have at least a couple of hours per week to spare on structured volunteer work.
Please note that Sustainability Showcase internships are unpaid as we do not have the funds to pay staff; all of our current staff are volunteers, and all Sustainability Showcase funds are directed toward practical projects.
We are very keen to offer a different experience from the standard internship model, which is often considered somewhat exploitative, and are committed to your professional development. We will ensure that you are fully trained to carry out meaningful work, that you are developing skills you need for the future, and that you are not merely providing free labour by doing the bits no one else wants to do. The closing date for applications is Monday 26th January, and interviews will be held from 2nd – 6th February. Internships will commence as soon as is reasonably possible following selection, and will continue until mid-December 2015. Please only apply if you are sure you can complete at least 6 months of an internship.
